then the united states senate. what one of the most conservative voting records in congress, senator scott has left the effort to protect the unborn, secure our border, stand up to china and hold the biden administration accountable. because of his leadership, tax cuts became a reality. education opportunities have expended for children across the country and millions have heard his stories about his faith in christ and the american dream. his life is a testament to his faith, family and the commitment to the values that make our nation exceptional. before we welcome them to our stage, let's take a moment to see what makes him so special. >> you want to restore hope, you got to restore the family,

i love it. i love it. i know american candy for anyone what she has done for me. that is why we are focusing on restoring hope, creating opportunities and protecting the america we all love. protecting america starts with backing the blue. we must stand up and thank god for every law enforcement officer who served in our communities. [applause] the left wants to defund the police, the moralized the police and d -- demonized the police. we should respect the police, refund the pulleys. they are willing to run and where everyone else is running out. i am going to preach to y'all.
4:13 am
let's have a conversation about america and the land of the living. we also must close our southern borders. we should build the wall. do not talk about it, get her done. thank you very much. without any question, think about this. joe biden is selling off the construction material to finish the wall. ok. for pennies on the dollar he is selling off the construction material to finished the wall. for $10 billion in nation that has spent 7 trillion. we should finish the wall.
4:14 am
for another $5 billion we could use the available military great technology to stop fentanyl from coming into our country and killing 70,000 americans and 12 months -- and 12 months. let's get the job done. without over 200 people on our national security watchlist. caught at our southern border. thousands flying over from china to walk across our southern border. if we were going to restore hope in this nation, we have to make sure that every single parent in every single zip code has a quality education choice for their kids. when parents have a choice, the kid has the best chance to
4:15 am
succeed in life. the parties stand strong for parents is the great opportunity already, the gop. [applause] i will say, if we are going to win the education debate and the nation, we are going to have to break the backs of the teachers unions. standing in the door house, trapping poor kids into failing schools and out of their best future. if we are going to create opportunities in this nation, we are going to have to protect the goose that lays the golden headaches. n eggs.

america is the greatest country on gods green earth. every single one of us should be proud to be in american. [applause] >> i always love our chat. thank you for sitting down with us again. we just came off the debate in our hometown. how are you feeling about the debate? sen. scott: so much fun. if you want to have good debate prep, turn to be double the. we should understand the differences between the candidates on the stage. sometimes that contrast creates a little tension. tension is good for growth. muscle grows under tension. we have to make sure the muscle to fight for this nation is strong as humanly possible.
4:17 am
we should all know thatbidenom ics is devastating families all across the country. his spending levels are just so high that it is undeniable, unbelievable and unacceptable for the greatest nation on earth for a child born today to have $100,000 tab to the federal government. we deserve better. >> i love watching all of you. guys mix it up on the debate. . sen. scott: the one thing about democrats, they are quite tribal. when it comes to voting, they stick together. we as republicans, we are more entrepreneurial.
4:18 am
we wake up, we agree sometimes and disagree. we need to make sure that we rally around firing joe biden. [applause] once we fire joe biden, we have to fire merrick garland. clean out the doj. i am not sure if you all know who randy -- is, the department of education. hit the road? and don't you come back no more. >> i want to talk and little about california. we are early in the process. less time around did not matter because there is a incumbent in the race. we have 169 delegates up for

grabs. one of the questions that i get is a, what are you hoping to hear from the candidates that are coming from -- to california. my question to you is, what is the message that he hoped to deliver to the californians that says that you are the best candidate for trump 2024? sen. scott: the truth of my life destroys the lives of the radical left. number one. i have had the privilege of living the american dream coming from a single-parent household in poverty in the deep south, were people said this will not work for you. america is not the opportunity that you think it could be. my mother believed that prayer was of the key and faith unlocks the door. can i get a amen?
4:20 am
my mr. taught mean that personal responsibility is necessary. you cannot blame your dad because he is not around. do not blame your mom. look in the mirror and blame yourself. all things are possible in this nation. i have four basic principles. if you are able bodied in america, you work. number two, if you take out a loan, you pay it back. number three, if you commit a violent crime, you go to jail. number four, if god made you a man you play sports against men. [applause]
4:21 am
>> we have ap pic poll that came out earlier this week and it talked about the economy being the number one issue for californians. in you have a economic plan. how are you going to help californians get back on track that we are not hurting so much. >> you have to adopt an embrace my idea. sen. scott: it is made in america plan. it creates 10 million new job starting with 3 million jobs by allowing this nation to excavate our oil, gas, energy. set america's energy resources free. it lets become energy -- not independent, dominant. we should dominate the energy market in the world. we have the resources to do that. with innovation, we could create another 2 million jobs. in the last to me five years, we

have lost over 100,000 factories. let's create high-tech manufacturing job bringing in tens and thousands of factories creating millions of jobs by using technology and lowering taxes to take our jobs back from china and around the world. it reassure those jobs in america. we have done it before. we can do it again. i wrote the tax cuts and jobs act. we lowered taxes from 35 to 40% on the corporate side down to 21. we gave a tony percent reduction for small businesses. brought home 1.7 trillion dollars. we took unemployment to the lowest level from african-americans, hispanics and asians in the history of the country. i create opportunities that
4:23 am
brought $70 billion into the poorest community and not one red cent for the federal tax dollars. we can do it. let's do it again. >> it seems that every state has become a border state. sen. scott: absolutely. >> and 2017, it would be 25,000 coming across the border in a month. just this week we had 30,000. your former colleague, vice president harris has seen the borders. i think she has not been doing a very good job. sen. scott: she has done a terrible job. continue, please. >> what would you do differently ? sen. scott: the first think we have to do is reinstate the remain in mexico policy.
4:24 am
the second thing we should do is reinstate title 42. covid is over, but f entanyl is killing 70,000 americans. we can have another health emergency that can reinstate lower levels of illegal immigration. the first think you need to do is reinstate the asylum policy, which requires people to seek asylum in the country. that plus, closing the border using the $10 billion, the $5 billion from the military to cut technology, those five things we could get done quick, fast and in a hurry. you know i am a mom. sen. scott: someone had a birthday yesterday i believe it was. it this next generation is being

left behind. we are thinking about the 50 states when it comes to literacy. because of what has happened here with the teachers union, we seen how it is affected our children. >> you talk about it on the national level and the national teachers union, what would you do differently with what is going on. sen. scott: i created something called protecting our kids. within that plan is our parents bill of rights. parent should have the ability to know exactly what their kids are being exposed to in school. number two, they should have the right to opt out of electives. you teach your kids about gender, sex education and the
4:26 am
issues, not forcing it down the throats of our kids. make sure that every parent knows exactly what is being discussed with the adults in the school system and their minor kids. finally, we don't need crt, we need abc. we need to quit indoctrinating kids and start educating kids. finally, only 14% of our kids understand the rich provocative history of the united states on grade level. we have to get back to history and mathematics. as they used to say, arithmetic. we have to get back to the basics. we are failing our kids. we can turn that around.
4:27 am
introduce choice. her charter, public, home school, all choice. >> one last question. it has been about a year and a half since we sat down and had a conversation like this. how have you changed? or do you think you state the same as a senator and a candidate for president of the united states? sen. scott: thank you for being such an amazing leader in the state. you have done a fabulous job. [applause] i have had the great privilege of traveling this country for the last several months. the one thing that has changed in me, i loved america before i started. i love americans even more now. sen. scott: we live in the most remarkable nation on earth.
4:28 am
we believe in each other. every place i go, whether it is iowa or new hampshire, texas, california, all across this nation would i run into our people who are strong and resilient. who love america and love their neighbors. i also learned that turning off the craziness from the news is good for your soul. sometimes the less you hear on tv the better you feel about your neighbor. one of the reasons that i said just wednesday night that america is not a racist country. it is because part of the challenges that we are facing today are being relegated to raise the radical left would use

any issue, any person, any group to hold on to their political power at our expense. there is a force in this country that is insidious. it is sinister. it loves power so much that it would use race and class to polarize our country to maintain their power. the more i travel the more i realize that is a lie from the pit of hell. the average person would go the extra mile for someone who would go the extra mile for themselves. we live in the most one markable country and it is about time we celebrated it. thank you so much. i know we got to get you on a plane.
